WOW! Asia is RACIST! This article brought the existence of “Darlie” toothpaste to my attention. A wikipedia search yielded the factoid that the product was formerly known as DARKIE. It only gets better. In some countries, the toothpaste is called “MOUTH JAZZ“! OMG, LOL, ETC!

That was very informative. I can see that in the package, it is written "Taiwan Corporation". What does it mean? It was manufactured in Taiwan and I don't know what part in Asia or maybe in Africa or America it being sold.

And no Asia is not racist...the founder named the toothpaste out of admiration of the 1920's entertainer Al Jolson who painted his face with black make-up revealing bright shiny white teeth. In Asia, this was great advertising and no one took it as an insult for 65 years. This was a compliment and people-like yourself- went wild with racist claims-so the name was changed for the sensitive Americans to Darlie. Research before posting idiotic comments.
